The series of Saratov Region sightseeing excursions for new foreign students of Saratov State Technical University named after Yuri Gagarin continues.

Foreign students of Saratov State Technical University from Lugansk People's Republic, Egypt, Iraq, Haiti, Morocco, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan became participants of the Saratov city tour. The organizer of this event was International Relations Department of SSTU, the committee of public relations and tourism of the administration of the municipal formation "Saratov", P.A. Stolypin center and Saratov State Art Museum named after A.N. Radishchev.

On September 28, a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan met with representatives of international offices of leading universities in the region and foreign students at SSTU. The delegation was headed by the First Secretary of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan Azizbek Razakov.

Saratov State Technical University took part in the virtual interactive educational fair  "Study in Russia". The event was organized within the framework of the complex of measures to support foreign students of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and was aimed at promoting Russian universities abroad, as well as attracting talented young people to study in the Russian Federation.

An organizational meeting was held in Yuri Gagarin State Technical University  of Saratov for first-year students who came from other countries to get higher education in the prestigious technical university.

A new academic year has started in Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov. Foreign first-year students have already started classes and congratulate Polytech students on the beginning of student life.

In connection with modification of the Federal law from 25.07.2002 115-FZ "About the legal
status of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation", all foreign citizens (except citizens of the
Republic of Belarus), who have arrived in the Russian Federation, are obliged to pass the
dactiloscopic registration, photographing as well as medical examination!

Postgraduate students and graduates of the Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov became participants of the inter-university sports contest of summer sports and health camps.

The admission campaign shows high interest of foreign applicants to Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov. Today 250 applications from foreign applicants have been submitted to the University.
