Foreign students took an online course in Russian as a foreign language in the
framework of DigitalUni Russian Club@, a project implemented with a grant from
the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

More than 100 students from Uzbekistan, Egypt, Iraq, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan study at ETI.

On 20 December, 2021 a New Year volleyball tournament was held in the sports hall of  Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov.

The excursions took place within the framework of the work of the International Students Association at the Technical University. The main goal of the Association is to help international students in adaptation and socialization during their studies at the University, as well as to strengthen mutual understanding and build trusting relationships.

Acting Rector, Doctor of History, Professor, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Naumov, Vice-rector for International Relations and Cooperation with authorities Tatiana Kasaeva, Vice-rector for Social and Educational work Natalia Obrezha, students-representatives of 30 countries took part in the event.

On December 20, 2021 there was held the Day of Arabic Poetry at the "Tochka kipeniya" of the region's supporting university - Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov, the event was dedicated to the International Arabic Language Day.

The students were assigned to teams by country and took part in the competition with pleasure, as they are fans of football.

In SSTU foreign students not only aspire to knowledge, but also study the culture of our country. Their first acquaintance with the world of Russian theater began with a meeting with classical works.

On the 7th of December the kick-off meeting of the International Students' Association of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov took place. At the meeting every participant introduced himself/herself and told what country he/she is from and what he/she studies at our University. It turned out that many international students are bright and talented, who not only manage to study well, but also have different hobbies. They plan to take part in various events at the University, to unleash their creative potential and to take an active part in student life.

On November 30, 2021 the International scientific-practical conference "Economic Development Priorities in the Context of Digitalization" was held at the Socio-economic Institute of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov.
