The second day of the visit of the leadership of the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology to Gagarin State Technical University began with a round table meeting "Russian-Uzbek cooperation in science and education: problems and prospects".

Today, a delegation of teachers and staff of NITI, led by Rector Odiljon Mamatkarimov, met with the rector of SSTU, Professor Sergey Naumov. The heads of universities summed up the results of the jointly implemented double degree program and discussed the prospects for further partnership.

On the sidelines of the IV Russian-Uzbek Forum, held on June 24-25 in Vladivostok, a cooperation agreement was signed between Gagarin State Technical University and Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute in order to strengthen and develop cooperation in the field of education and scientific research.

The event is being held at the Far Eastern Federal University and is dedicated to topical issues of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education. The forum brings together leading scientists, heads of universities, representatives of companies and departments of Russia and Uzbekistan.

The XIX educational exhibition "The Graduate Fair" is taking place in Oran (Algeria) from June 22 to 25. The Algerian Student Fair opens prestigious universities of the world to graduates, including the Gagarin State Technical University.

At the end of June, the defenses of the final qualifying works of foreign students of SSTU are traditionally held.

Another online meeting with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University took place at Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov.

A video meeting was held between representatives of the leadership of the Gagarin State Technical University and partners from the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology.

The Saratov Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a poetry evening dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin. The poems written by the great Russian poet were read by foreign students of Saratov.

A solemn ceremony of awarding certificates to the winners of the All-Russian Olympiad in Ecology took place at the Gagarin State Technical University.
