Students of Russian language courses of the Saratov State Technical University visited Saratov Islamic complex with an excursion. The students got acquainted with the history of Islam in the Volga region, learned about the centuries-old connection of our city with the Arabic world and visited the library of madrasah "Sheikh Said", which contains classic Arabic works on linguistics, history and sociology.

Every year the Government of the Russian Federation allocates a guaranteed number of fee free places for foreigners to study at higher educational institutions of the country. The scholarship includes free tuition for the entire term in the chosen specialty, a monthly stipend and the provision of dormitory accommodation.

A concert dedicated to Catholic Christmas took place in the Socio-economic Institute of the SSTU. It was organized by the Department of "Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication" with the support of the Department of International Communications.
