Institute of Urban Planning, Architecture & Construction

The Institute is one of the biggest research and education clusters of SSTU. 

It has unique opportunities to develop interdisciplinary research and meta-learning tools for academic programs that interconnect diverse knowledge areas of urban system problems, including living environment architecture and design, various construction trends, urban ecology, geoecology, and sociology. 

Traditionally, to exchange and develop cooperation with international academic and research community the Institute organizes workshops and conferences devoted to «Urban studies», «Resource and Energy Efficient Technologies in the Construction Complex», «Problems of Industrial Ecology of Cities». 

The Institute is building partnership relations and cooperates with various enterprises and leading research and education centres in Russia.
