1973 – graduated from the Faculty of Physics of the Saratov State University at the department of "Theoretical and nuclear physics", specializing in "Mathematical and software of ACS and computers", having done his graduate work at the State Research Center IHEP ("Institute of High Energy Physics," Ministry of Medium Machine Building of the USSR, today - part of the "Kurchatov Institute RosAtom".

2000 – present moment - Professor at the Department of Technical Physics and Information Technology (TPI)

2002 – approved in the title of professor in the department of "Technical Physics and Information Technology" by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

2016/2017 – present moment - Professor at the Department of “Experimental and Mathematical Sciences”

Educational activity:

Conducts all kinds of classes at a high scientific and methodological level using IT-technologies. Reads lecture courses on disciplines "Physics", "Computer science", "Information technologies", "Visual programming", "Computational mathematics", "Modeling of physical systems", "Mathematical modeling", "Data analysis", "Processing of experimental data on the computer", "Digital signal processing systems", "Engineering design and computational modeling environments", "Computer processing of experimental data", for graduate and master students - "Mathematical and computer modeling methods in scientific research".

Developed 3 academic courses: "Applied Computer Programs" and "Information Technologies in Technosphere Security", for which he gives lectures and conducts laboratory classes with 3rd year students of the programs of Technosphere Security (full-time), Technological Machines and Equipment (full-time), 4th c. - Technological Machines and Equipment, Oil and Gas Business (part-time), "Mobile Technologies" - for Informatics and Computer Science (part-time).

During the period 2016-2020 he is the supervisor of 11 graduation works of specialty Programming of computer systems, directions of Informatics and computer engineering.

In 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022 academic years are prepared and used in the educational process of distance learning full lecture notes on Physics (and presentations on some topics) - 3-semester course: "Mechanics and Molecular Physics" - 120 pages, For the subjects "Electricity and Magnetism" - 180 pages, "Optics, Atomic and Nuclear Physics" - 200 pages; for the courses: "Mathematical Mathematics" - 120 pages; "Mathematical Modeling" and "Mathematical Modeling of Physical Systems" - 100 pages.

During the last 17 years (2006-2022) he has been the chairman of the State Academic Contest Committee and the State Expert Committee at the Faculty of Physics of the N.G. Chernyshevskiy State University in the related fields of bachelor and master training - "Physics", "Physics and Methodology and Information Technologies in Education".

From 2002 to 2017 he was a member of the Specialized Council D 212.242.08 at SSTU in the specialty 05.13.18 - Mathematical modeling, numerical methods and software packages. 6 candidates in the field of physical and mathematical sciences have garduated, 5 of which Klinaev Yu.V. supervised.

Main achievements in Science & Research:

He has published more than 300 scientific and scientific-methodical works, including about 40 papers in the journals of the Higher Attestation Commission of the RF Ministry of Education and Science, 12 in Scopus and Web of Science, over 70 in RSCI, 5 monographs (3 - co-auth., 2 authored), 11 textbooks (2002, 2004, 2005, 2010, 2011(2), 2013, 2014, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021), participated as a scientific editor in the publication of 6 interuniversity (SSU, SSTU, SSMU) thematic collections (2014-2020).

Public activity: 

He is a member of ETI and UMKN of ETI of Yuri Gagarin SSTU and the author of scientific and educational web-project "Radiomuseum of Prof. Y.V.
