Education and career
2005 – graduated with a specialist diploma in Biotechnical and Medical Apparatus and Systems (200401), SSTU (2000-2005).
2004 – graduated from the military department, military occupational specialty. 560201 "Operation and repair of motor vehicles", SSTU, Lieutenant (in reserve, 2005).
2004–2006 – assistant in the laboratory "Materials science and physical-mechanical properties of coatings", SSTU.

Scientific interests
- Induction heating, hardening and hardening treatments of metals and alloys with high frequency currents (HFC).
- Development of equipment and tools for HFC processing.
- Additive technologies, including electroplasma spraying (Ti, HAp), resistance welding, electrical discharge alloying of metal products with refractory metals and alloys (Ta, Zr, Ti, WC-TiC-Co, etc.), selective laser surface modification (sintering, texturing, hardening).
- Cementation and nitrocementation of metals, structural and tool steels using HFC treatment.
- Development of design and hardening of metalworking tools (replaceable plates, punches and matrices of punching and drawing dies).
- Research of structure, surface morphology, chemical and phase composition of materials and coatings using scanning electron (SEM), energy dispersion analysis (EDX), probe (AFM, STM) microscopy, and X-ray phase analysis (XRD).
- Research of mechanical properties (hardness, elastic modulus, strength and ductility, FLD characteristics) of materials and coatings using macro-, micro- and nanoindentation, scratch testing, as well as single and biaxial tension (compression).
- Metallographic analysis of metals and alloys including hardware-software processing (porosity determination, calculation of statistical parameters of micro- and nanostructure elements).
The main research area concerns induction heating and heat treatment of metal products, including small-sized titanium structures and metalworking tools (replaceable polyhedral plates, exhaust and separation stamps). Combined processes using electroplasma sputtering, vacuum condensation sputtering, electric spark alloying, spot contact welding, modification of ceramics with colloidal nanoparticles, selective laser processing and microarc oxidation are being actively developed and improved.
