Teacher of the highest category. "Master of Sports of the USSR" in sambo. The experience of scientific and pedagogical work is 34 years.

He took part in and won the regional competition for the title of "The Best Specialist in Physical Culture and Sport of 2010" in the nomination "Teacher of Physical Culture of the Year of Higher Professional Education". Zalewski A.V. constantly improves his professional qualification:

The educational work consists of holding practical classes on the discipline "Physical Training" with the 1st-3rd year students, as well as in groups of sports improvement in volleyball (girls) and weight lifting (boys). Athletes trained by A. Zalewski defend the honor of the institute in the Spartakiad of physical education groups of Engels municipal district, in the regional competitions, winning prizes.

A.V. Zalewski takes part in the work of the educational commission of the ETI, in the development (revision) of the curricula, thematic plans for the study of the discipline and other educational and methodical documentation.

Public activity

Takes an active part in regional, all-Russian, international scientific and practical conferences:

• January 20-21, 2020. International scientific-practical conference «Current problems of physical culture and sports in modern socio-economic conditions» Cheboksary, Chuvash State Agricultural Academy. Based on the results of the conference a certificate was issued and a scientific article was published;
• March 01-16, XV 2020. International Scientific and Practical Internet-Conference "Education in the Modern World" N.G. Chernyshevsky Saratov State National Research University. Based on the results of the conference a certificate was issued and a scientific article was published;
• February 10 - March 29, 2020. III International competition of students and teachers of professional educational institutions «Stars» - 2019/2020 (4th session of the season 2019/2020) in three nominations 1st places were taken. Diplomas were issued following the results of the competition;
• March 30 - May 19, 2020. III International competition of students and teachers of professional educational institutions «Stars» - 2019/2020 (5th session of the season 2019/2020) in three nominations 1st places were taken. Diplomas were issued following the results of the competition;
• March 30 - May 19, 2020. III International competition of students and teachers of professional educational institutions «Stars» - 2019/2020 (5th session of the season 2019/2020) creative project of students of the 3rd year under the supervision of Zalewski "You do not like physical education? Lots of good in it!!!" won 1st place. Following the results of the competition, a diploma was issued;
• March 30 – May 19, 2020 in the III International Competition of students and teachers of professional educational institutions «Stars» - 2019/2020 (5th session of the 2019/2020 season according to Table 3 – TOP-10: 1st place in the performance rating of teachers participating in the competition.
• September 27-28, 2019 International scientific and practical conference "Ethnopedagogical guidelines in a multicultural educational environment as a basis for the formation of ethnic tolerance", Cheboksary, I.Ya. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University, Scientific Research Institute of Ethnopedagogy of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences G.N. Volkov. Following the results of the conference, a certificate was issued and a scientific article was published;
• November 1-2, 2018. International scientific-practical conference "Scientific and methodical support of physical education and sports training of university students", Republic of Belarus, Minsk.

Through sports and health work, promotion and implementation of physical culture and healthy lifestyle in the life of students, Zalewski A.V. pays special attention to health-saving direction of the educational process in accordance with the strategy of the state anti-drug policy of the Russian Federation until 2020 (Presidential Decree of June 9, 2010 № 690), the concept of state policy to reduce alcohol abuse and prevention of alcoholism in the Russian Federation for the period until 2020 (the order of the President of the Russian Federation № 690).
