The work of the second economic forum "Russia - Africa" continues. Representatives of the delegations of African states show interest in educational opportunities in SSTU.

The second economic and humanitarian forum "Russia - Africa" is taking place in St. Petersburg. Saratov delegation is headed by the Governor of the region Roman Busargin. Yuri Gagarin State Technical University was represented at the forum by Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations, Professor Igor Ostroumov and Head of International Relations Department Evgeniya Tokareva.

Saratov State Technical University held a ceremony of awarding diplomas of higher education to foreign graduates.

In SSTU a solemn graduation ceremony was held for foreign citizens who graduated from the educational program "Russian as a foreign language" in the Preparatory Language Center of the International Relations Department.

International Relations Department of SSTU organized a meeting for foreign students with representatives of the Migration Department of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Saratov region.

The final examinations of the first streams of the Russian language courses have begun. The first and second groups have successfully completed the course, which lasted nine months. At the end of the course there is an exam in Russian language in accordance with the requirements of level B1 (writing, reading, listening and speaking).

A third-year doctoral student of the Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after Saken Seyfullin Isa Kuanov completed his scientific internship at the department of "Machine Building Technology" of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Transportation of the Gagarin Y.A. SSTU.

Socio-economic Institute of SSTU hosted the international round table "Russian Studies and Intercultural Communication in the Modern Educational Paradigm of Higher School".

The Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a poetry evening dedicated to the Day of the Russian Language and the Birthday of the great Russian poet and writer Alexander Pushkin.

Preparatory Language Center of International Relations Department invites foreign citizens to take preparatory courses in Russian language.
